Miss World Kenya 2026 Ivy Trizah Muhenje, 24, visited Kigwa Ridge School in Nairobi, Kenya on June 19, 2026. After the visit, she stated that she had “the honor of celebrating culture, diversity, and unity with students and families from different nations” at the school.
“In every smile, dance, conversation, and cultural expression, I was reminded that our differences make us stronger and our shared humanity brings us together,” Muhenje shared. She added that her experience at the school was a “beautiful reminder that the world is brightest when different cultures come together as one”.
The school’s vision is to nurture inquisitive minds and compassionate hearts, fostering a dynamic learning community that empowers students to become innovative global citizens prepared to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving world. Meanwhile, its mission is to equip students with the essential tools for proficient learning by cultivating an inventive, dynamic, and nurturing educational environment firmly grounded in robust fundamental skills.
Ivy Trizah Muhenje
Hailing from Nairobi, Muhenje is a fashion model with a bachelor’s degree in tourism. She is an alumna of Kitale School in Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County, Kenya and The Co-operative University of Kenya in Karen, a suburb of Nairobi.
While attending the university, Muhenje won Miss University Africa Kenya 2022 on July 30, 2022. She was scheduled to represent Kenya on the international stage but the continental pageant for African university students was postponed and did not resume before her university graduation on December 1, 2023.
As a football fan, Muhenje supports Abaluhya Football Club Leopards Sports Club and the Manchester United Football Club. She also regularly attends the matches of the Kenyan national football team.
Miss World Kenya 2024
On August 3, 2024, the Miss World Kenya 2024 coronation ceremony was held at the Two Rivers Mall in Nairobi. The show featured live performances by Kethan and Mercy Masika.
Tanya Martin served as one of the judges. The winner and her runners-up were:
- Miss World Kenya 2024: Grace Ramtu
- 1st runner-up: Ivy Trizah Muhenje
- 2nd runner-up: Joan Joy
Ramtu was unplaced when she represented Kenya at Miss World 2025 on May 31, 2025 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India where she competed against 107 other candidates. The winner and her runners-up were:
- Miss World 2025: Suchata Chuangsri (Thailand)
- 1st runner-up: Hasset Dereje (Ethiopia)
- 2nd runner-up: Maja Klajda (Poland)
- 3rd runner-up: Aurélie Joachim (Martinique)
Miss World 2026
As the Miss World Kenya 2024 runner-up, Muhenje was appointed Miss World Kenya 2026 and officially crowned on December 19, 2025 in an intimate crowning ceremony at the Holiday Inn Nairobi, Two Rivers Mall in Nairobi. On June 8, 2026, she turned 24.
From August 9, 2026 to September 5, 2026, Muhenje will be in Vietnam to compete for the Miss World 2026 crown. Among her fellow African candidates are:
